About Khayzaran 56

A Lebanese seafood story built on family roots.

Founded under the direction of Mr. Sharif Faqeeh “Abo Talal”, Khayzaran has grown from a family restaurant into one of Lebanon’s familiar seafood destinations. Today, we continue the same promise: fresh products, honest cooking, warm hospitality and fair value.

Our Journey

A legacy that endured.

From the first opening to rebuilding after war and returning to the Khaldeh shore, Khayzaran’s history is a story of resilience.

1956

The Beginning

The Faqeeh Brothers launched Khayzaran Restaurant under the direction of Abo Talal.

1971

Expansion to Khaldeh

A new Beirut–Khaldeh location helped establish Khayzaran across Lebanon and the Arab region.

1982–85

Destruction & Rebuilding

The restaurant was damaged during the invasion, rebuilt in 1983, then closed as the war intensified.

2015–16

A New Beginning

Khayzaran was rehabilitated and reopened by the Khaldeh shore in a striking new seaside setting.
